The Mission of the Clinical Engineering Society of India (CESI) is

  • to represent, advocate and provide educational and networking opportunities for Clinical Engineers in India.

  • to establish a standard of competence and to promote excellence in clinical engineering practice.

  • to promote safe and effective application of science and technology in patient care

  • to define the body of knowledge on which the profession is based

  • to represent the professional interests of clinical engineers

  • to encourage and promote the personal and professional development of all our Clinical Engineering members

  • to reinforce and elevate the Clinical Engineering profession as seen by all healthcare professionals.

  • to strive for continued Clinical Engineering excellence and partnership within all healthcare provision environments.

  • to foster and establish international links and co-operation surrounding all aspects of Clinical Engineering

  • to collaborate with national and international organizations and agencies to address the challenges and opportunities in clinical engineering and biomedical engineering.

  • to act as an information resource, providing curated information relevant to the profession through our web site and other channels.

  • to guide the members in accurately representing the level of responsibility, authority, experience, knowledge and education.
